The value of operational innovation is frequently overlooked. Such innovation can transform a company and, in the case of implementing effective grid infrastructure maintenance practices, dramatically improve system resilience, TCO, and safety. 

For many utilities and telcos, operational innovation focused on the sustained strength, longevity, and resilience of grid infrastructure isn’t an intentional, funded priority.
