Upgrade and Restore Wood Poles

Steel trusses are one of the best ways to harden electric infrastructure. When bending loads are applied to a steel reinforced wood pole, they are transferred to the truss. The truss allows the bending loads to effectively bypass the decayed or damaged groundline area of the pole, transferring the loads to a sound wood foundation below ground.

Restoration and Preventative Maintenance

In addition to preventative maintenance using life-extending preservatives and coatings, Osmose provides turnkey construction and restoration services ensuring electric utility networks are hardened and resilient enough to weather the next storm event.
