Wednesday, November 1, 2023 | 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. EDT

Electric utility companies are facing challenges in managing their joint-use attachment applications, especially in the context of rural broadband deployment initiatives like the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) and the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program. To address these challenges, utilities are turning to various technologies and strategies to enhance their joint-use management programs. US tech companies, Osmose Utilities Services and Laser Technology, Inc. have recently joined forces to provide a streamlined field-to-finish solution for fielders that confronts these difficulties.

This webinar is an overview of the two companies’ primary technologies; and how they combine to enhance the execution of your joint-use management program while preserving safety, reliability, and compliance:

  • Capabilities of Osmose’s O-Calc Pro software and Laser Tech’s TruPulse rangefinders and Pole Audit app
  • Use of O-Calc Pro to configure the data collection and process the incoming pole records from the field
  • Recording accurate make-ready engineering measurements with the TruPulse to a mobile device
  • The benefits of combining productive tools and powerful software in your joint-use management program
