Link Box Protection Blanket

In 2016, we brought to market a range of electricity link box protection blankets. These blankets were designed to mitigate the vast threat to public safety and property that is posed by unprotected link boxes literally exploding underneath the pavements of built-up inner-city streets, for example the streets of London. As anybody can imagine, pavements exploding on inner-city roads is a severely dangerous problem that needed rectifying as quickly and effectively as possible. This is where the AUS link box protection blanket comes in.

The blanket is made with a Kevlar filling and is sealed to prevent water ingress. It is designed so that if a link box does explode, the blanket takes the impact of the explosion, to stop damage being done to life and property.

The blankets have been installed across London and parts of the North and have been greatly successful in preventing the damage that can occur when electricity link boxes explode.
